GAME GUIDE · VERSION 1.1
Save & Back Up Your Cat Doodle Jump Progress
Export your best height, medals and sound setting, preview an imported backup and merge records without replacing a better score.

What is saved
Your browser stores your highest height, permanently collected medals and sound preference on this domain. The active run, cat position, platforms and temporary challenge counters are not saved. Closing or reloading the page starts a fresh run.
Local records belong to this browser profile and this website address. They do not automatically sync to another device or to the old localhost preview. Private browsing, clearing site data or disabling storage can remove or prevent records.
Create a backup
- Pause an active run before exporting.
- Select Download backup on the game page.
- Keep the downloaded JSON file somewhere you can find it.
A backup contains the game ID, save format version, game version, export timestamp, best height, medal list and sound setting. It does not include email, account credentials or a full playable run. No account is required and the file is created on your device.
Restore without losing a better record
- Open the game on your destination browser and choose Import backup.
- Select the JSON backup and read the preview of its height and medals.
- Download a backup of your existing progress if needed, then choose Merge backup.
Restore keeps the higher score and combines earned medals. It does not overwrite your current sound preference or start a run from the imported score. The game ID, supported version and data fields are checked before writing; invalid files leave current records untouched. A failed write attempts to restore the previous records and displays an error.
Storage failures and multiple tabs
The game remains playable if saving is unavailable, but the status warns that records may disappear after closing. Export the current in-memory records before leaving. For fewer conflicts, keep only one game tab active. Tabs combine highest scores and medal sets when storage changes are observed.
